NEWS...
Cracky! I mean, crikey!

It was a great ride, but now we're down to one Lazy Critic™. While the remaining LC figures out what to do next, please enjoy the content already on the site. And when you're not reading us, check out these current flicks for your maximum filmic enjoyment: Kung-Fu Panda, WALL-E (a real treat!), and WANTED. You might also enjoy the latest offerings from MGMT and my personal favorite, R.E.M. (you don't have Accelerate yet? Why not?). Check back here later to find out what happens to the site next (perhaps...blogging!?). Most of all, thanks for reading!

NEW IN MUSIC...
Bruce does Dexter?

Bruce Springsteen's Magic isn't due until October 2, 2007, but the first single, "Radio Nowhere," is everywhere. Well, so's the whole album, which we may or may not have heard already thanks to that shamefully leaky internet, but we can't officially review the whole thing yet. So while we can't yet tell you that Magic, while not perfect, is still a great listen chock fulla Bruuuuce-y goodness, we can tell you that "Radio Nowhere," which was officially released on iTunes, is a heart-thumpin', fist-pumpin' track guaranteed to get your toes tapping and your body swaying. In the meantime, you can re-read our old reviews here.

NEW IN MOVIES...
Don't Mess with Russ!

Our first Quick 'n Lazy Review™is for the fabulous new Western, 3:10 to Yuma. To show you how lazy we are, we saw it a week before its release date, but we're just now getting around to telling you about it. What can we say? We love our "treatments"! Please do check out our feature here...

NEW IN INTERVIEWS...
The Sugarplastic

We're still working on this section and new interviews are coming soon. In the meantime, please enjoy the interviews with Ben Eshbach and Los Lobos. Read more...

NEW IN MISCELLANEOUS...
I'm a lucky leprechaun

What's a comic who can sell out large venues doing at the 100-seat Coronet Theater in Los Angeles? Why, improv, of course! No cake and no flags, but plenty of laughs as Eddie Izzard took the stage with a few Groundlings. Read more...
